Hi friends of this blog! for today Renting Airplanes at Coeur d'alene Airport -
KCOE
Latitude Aviation at the Coeur d'Alene Airport /Pappy
Boyington Field offers aircraft rental services. With a fleet of 4 different
airplanes and a Advanced Aviation Training Device (simulator) Latitude Aviation
has the most diverse fleet of rental aircraft in the area.
Rental aircraft
include:
Champ 7AC/7CCM
Powered by a Continental 90 horse engine, and at most will
do about 90 mph in level flight. But, with so much to look at, who cares how
fast you’re going?
As an added bonus, this aircraft is Light-Sport. If you are
a Sport Pilot or Private Pilot, some hours to meet insurance requirements and
you too can fly this little guy with no medical required.
Cessna 172
This 172 is a beautiful example of why the Skyhawk was the
best-selling single model of aircraft of all time. Easy to fly, smooth and
quiet, and reasonably fast all describe our 172. IFR avionics, recent interior
and paint, and great lighting complete the package. The iconic Skyhawk has
trained thousands to fly.
Cessna 170B
The Cessna 170 is a beautiful tailwheel airplane that puts a
smile on everyone’s face that has flown it. Docile, plenty of power, and
wonderful flight personality make this airplane a treasure. The C170B has
something of a cult following among pilots, but you may not understand fully
why until you get to know ours.
This airplane has a basic VFR panel with a nice radio, great
visibility, and is freshly returned to the skies after a paint job and refurbishment.
Come and get your tailwheel endorsement – or even your whole Private Pilot! –
in this airplane, and see why tailwheel pilots are a cut above the rest.
A 6-cylinder Continental C-145 powers this 2200 lb airplane,
using around 7 gph at the stately pace of about 110 mph.
Also available are sightseeing flights in this golden-era
airplane.
Cessna 150
It’s cute. It’s cheap. It was designed to do this – and
nothing but this. It’s a Cessna 150, and it lives to train pilots. There is
hardly a more efficient way to earn your license than a 150, and Latitude has
one. Powered by four angry cylinders in the Continental O-200 engine, it sips
gas at a miserly 5 gallons per hour, and is fully equipped with a COM radio,
and ILS/VOR/DME NAV radio. Perfect for learning how to fly.
